About me

I’m Rob Taylor, a recovering journalist. I got my right hip replaced May 24, 2017. In the cover photo I am pictured atop Mt. Moosilauke, NH, about two months later–with buddies Nell & Piper. Here I am snowshoeing near my house.

I had trouble finding answers to questions about how soon I could do things after hip surgery, so I wrote a book about my experience–and for variety, added stories of 11 other hip patients, male and female, ages 30 to 88.
